Privacy Policy

College Park Clint is a neighborhood peacock-sighting app for College Park in Orlando, Florida. There are no user accounts, profiles, social feeds, followers, or background location tracking.

Information used when you report a sighting

Precise location. Location is requested only after you tap I Spotted Clint. The coordinate at that moment becomes the location of the peacock sighting shown on the shared map. College Park Clint does not request or use background location access.

Photo. A photo is required with a new sighting. The photo is stored privately as verification evidence and is not displayed publicly in version 1.0.

Abuse-prevention information. The service derives a one-way hash from network information so it can limit repeated reports and flags. This is used only for service security, moderation, and abuse prevention. It is not used for advertising or user profiling.

Information visible to other users

Other users can see the reported peacock location and sighting time. They do not see a reporter name, email address, profile, or uploaded verification photo.

Advertising and tracking

College Park Clint does not sell personal information and does not use information for cross-app advertising or tracking.

Retention and deletion

Sighting records may be retained to provide neighborhood sighting history. Verification photos and abuse-prevention records may be deleted when they are no longer reasonably required for accuracy, moderation, security, or service protection. To request deletion of information associated with a sighting you submitted, contact us at the email below and include the approximate date/time of the sighting.

Permissions

You may deny Camera or Location permission. You can still view the shared map, but you will not be able to post a new sighting.
